Feedlots play an important role in the integrity system. Like livestock producers, feedlots are responsible for keeping integrity records in order and ensuring their practices align with integrity system requirements.

Several new updates have been made to Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) accounts to improve functionality for producers.

The Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) program is the on-farm assurance program that underpins market access for Australian red meat. LPA National Vendor Declarations (NVDs) provide evidence of livestock history and on-farm practices when transferring livestock through the value chain. All producers – regardless of flock or herd size – need to be accredited if they want to access the LPA National Vendor Declaration.

ISC’s webinar series continues this August with a new two-part series to help you meet LPA requirements on-farm and guarantee market access for your livestock.
