Subpoena Requests

To ensure a quick and effective response to a subpoena call Integrity Systems directly to on 07 3620 5229 or email operations@integritysystems.com.au so we can understand the request and provide cost estimates, timeframes and ensure we can provide you the data.  Alternatively, read the information below.

General  

1. All subpoenas must be made out to:

2. Email a clear PDF copy to operations@integritysystems.com.au  

3. Postal copies are accepted to the above address.  

4. Where possible, allowing the response to be returned electronically ensures it can be delivered on time and removes printing, postage and handling costs charged.  

5. Cheques are to be made out to Integrity Systems Company.  

6. Cost of producing data is $200 + GST per hour plus printing, postage and handling costs when required.   

 

Data to subpoena  

  • All records held by the Integrity Systems are against Property Identification Codes or PICs. If you do not provide a valid 8-character PIC, it will be unlikely we can provide the data you are seeking. 
  • A PIC is the only way to assure the data and requests against a name, entity, business, address, descriptions or images are unreliable or un-obtainable
  • Provide a definitive date range for the data – i.e. a start and end date is required.   
  • Integrity Systems does not have data pertaining to property or livestock ownership, financial records, prices of livestock, sales data, photographs, forms, memoranda, printouts of computer records, photographs, documents or material relating to the ownership, registration, acquisition, disposal of livestock, tax invoices, receipts, records, writings and documents. 
  • Integrity Systems is a business unit of Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA), manages the administration and technical aspects of the NLIS and rely on information provided to us by users.  We do not verify information entered into the NLIS Database or provided to us by Participants.
  • The NLIS Database holds data pertaining to:   
    • The movements of livestock onto a PIC
    • The movements of livestock off a PIC (to any other property, saleyard or abattoir)
    • NLIS Devices purchased for use on animals on a PIC
    • The current list of NLIS devices on the PIC 
  • The LPA system holds data pertaining to:   
    • A PIC’s LPA accreditation status 
    • Serial numbers of LPA National Vendor Declarations (NVDs) books issued to a PIC
    • Electronic NVDs (eNVDs) created and submitted for consignments by an LPA Accredited PIC.
